National Police Remembrance Day Today, the community of Ingham came together to pay tribute to the brave men and women of the Queensland Police Service who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The National Police Remembrance Day Service, held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, offered a solemn and poignant moment for reflection, remembrance, and respect. Everyone in the Ingham district experienced an extreme start to the year, and with the Jockey Club grounds having also being adversely affected by the widespread flooding, the hunt for local community support has never been more important!
Our annual Race Days are two of the most popular events Ingham has to offer on the social calendar, and this year we are promoting them as an opportunity to bring the community together in the wake of such devastation.
We’ve heard the terms “resilient”, “community” and “spirit” repeated over and over. Now is a perfect time to come together as a community, to show our spirit, and support our local Racing Events. The perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and put the worries of the world aside for a day.
