Innisfail QF-15 Coast Guard has officially commissioned its new vessel, the Innisfail Rescue, surrounded by members, families, supporters and guests from across the North Queensland Coast Guard community.
“Congratulations to Innisfail Q15 Coastguard who commissioned their new vessel Innisfail Rescue. Wishing for fair winds and following seas for all who board the boat,” said Councillor Trudy Tschui.
The vessel was christened with a traditional champagne ceremony as part of the celebrations, with AVCGA National Board members, NQ Squadron Commanders and members, and local Innisfail residents among those attending.
