Read the full storyLucinda Coast Guard will be conducting a Marine Radio Licence course for members of the public at the Lucinda Base, 19 Patterson Parade, Lucinda, on Saturday, 27th September. It is a legal requirement to hold a marine radio licence if you have a marine radio installed on your boat.
The course covers both LROCP (Long Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency) for HF radios and SROCP (Short Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency) for VHF radios. It begins at 8:15am and runs for approximately 7 hours. Please bring your own lunch, tea and coffee will be available.
