‍

Motorists travelling along Ingham–Forrest Beach Road can expect changed traffic conditions, with pavement rehabilitation maintenance works having recently commenced approximately four kilometres west of Forrest Beach.

‍

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises works will take place through to Saturday, 24th October, between 7am and 5pm, weather and construction conditions permitting.

‍

Motorists should allow extra travel time, with single-lane closures, moderate delays and reduced speed limits expected throughout the work zone. Traffic controllers will be onsite during active construction hours, while automatic traffic signals will operate outside these hours.

‍

Access to all properties will remain open throughout the works. Drivers may also experience noise from heavy machinery and should follow all traffic control directions and reduced speed limits.

‍

Variable message signs and advance warning signs will be installed on approaches to the work site to alert motorists to changed conditions.

TMR thanked motorists in advance for their patience and understanding while the rehabilitation works are completed.
