For people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, finding the right support can be just as difficult as knowing it exists. A range of local services came together in Ingham last week to help bridge that gap, bringing practical assistance and information directly to the community.
The Homelessness Expo, held at the HUB, offered visitors the chance to speak face-to-face with organisations covering housing, income support, disability services, advocacy, health and community support. With 16 organisations taking part, the event highlighted the breadth of assistance available locally and the importance of making those connections easier to access.
