Lyn Kidd caught this straight-as-an-arrow School mackerel to secure this week’s catch of the week! Did you know school mackerel prefer inshore waters, within 1km of a reef or rocky area. They can also be found in bays and estuaries while following baitfish, especially during spring and winter, so if you want to catch one you best get fishing before the temperatures climb!
