Two Mission Beach residents have been charged with multiple drug offences after police allegedly uncovered cannabis plants and drug-related equipment during a search of a local property earlier this month.
Mission Beach and Tully police executed a search warrant at a Yamala Close address on 11th August, where officers allegedly located 24 cannabis plants.
Police also allegedly found a grow tent, horticultural supplies and other drug utensils at the property.
Following the search, a 29-year-old Mission Beach man and a 25-year-old Mission Beach woman were each charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs, one count of producing dangerous drugs and one count of possessinganything used in the commission of a crime.
Both were issued notices to appear before Tully Magistrates Court on 1st October.
