Tourism operators across the Cassowary Coast are being encouraged to explore a new round of State Government funding aimed at supporting Queensland's next generation of visitor attractions.
Applications are now open for Round Two of the $80 million Tourism Icons Investment Fund, part of the Queensland Government's Destination 2045 strategy to grow the state's visitor economy through new and enhanced tourism experiences.
The fund supports projects that showcase Queensland's unique attractions by encouraging private investment, creating local jobs and attracting more visitors, with applicants required to match government funding to help deliver lasting economic benefits for regional communities.
Applications close on Monday, 10th August, with more information available via www.detsi.qld.gov.au.
