The Tully Arts and Cultural Precinct is inviting locals to put their detective skills to the test at a Christmas Murder Mystery Party at the Mount Tyson Hotel on Saturday 28th November.
With a murder, a theft and none other than Ebenezer Scrooge hosting the festivities, guests can expect an evening of intrigue, suspicious characters, unexpected twists and plenty of laughs.
The event follows the success of an earlier murder mystery evening, when a colourful gathering of lords and ladies, artists, art collectors, art thieves and detectives, surrounded by local art, became embroiled in a dastardly crime. Despite plenty of clues, whispered accusations and amateur sleuthing, the murderer was never exposed!
Tully Arts and Cultural Precinct chair Dr Valerie Keenan said events like these were a wonderful way to bring people together while raising funds for the group's vision of establishing a permanent arts, culture and heritage centre in Tully.
This time, guests can enjoy a buffet Christmas feast while trying to unravel the mystery. Dressing for the occasion and getting into character will add to the fun.
The Christmas Murder Mystery Party begins at 6pm on Saturday 28th November at the Mount Tyson Hotel. Tickets are $80 per person, including dinner.
