The acts for this year’s Rock N Croc Festival have been revealed, with a mix of local talent and high-energy performers set to take to the stage for a day of entertainment.
Local favourites Cassidy Connections, Ukes Amondo and Last Chance will be joined by Sax Attak, bringing plenty of variety to this year’s line-up.
The festival will bring plenty of energy to the stage, with deep brass, smooth saxophone, banging drums and high energy guitars combining for a big, lively sound.
Music is only part of the program, with plenty planned to keep festival-goers entertained throughout the day. Such as Carter’s Petting Zoo coming to the first time. This year they will also bring their popular pony rides, giving younger visitors the chance to get up close with some friendly four-legged guests.
Local firefighters will also put their skills on display with an exciting and informative car-cutting demonstration, simulating the rescue of a person trapped inside a vehicle and showing how emergency crews work to safely access a damaged car.
With the wet season approaching, the Disaster Management team will also be on hand to provide advice and run talks on disaster preparedness, helping locals make sure they are ready for whatever the season may bring.
There will be plenty for the younger crowd, including face painting, a kids’ music station, and a chill-out and shady space where families can take a break under the tree line out of the sun.
Adults can enjoy the return of the popular Croc Bar, providing the perfect spot to grab a drink, watch the sunset and enjoy the music.
Festival-goers will also have the chance to take home something extra through the lucky door prize, $100 board and raffles, while a market featuring workshops at participating stalls will add another active element to the day’s festivities. There’s even camping if you want to stay the night!
With live music, entertainment, activities, community demonstrations and plenty for the whole family, Rock N Croc is shaping up to be a full day of local fun.
