There was plenty of beer, bratwurst and Bavarian cheer as Kurrimine Beach came alive for its annual Oktoberfest celebrations at the weekend.
Locals and visitors embraced the festive spirit, enjoying a fun-filled day of German dancing, live music, delicious food and plenty of laughs.

From keg rolling to the traditional German game of Hammerschlagen, there was no shortage of friendly competition, with plenty of enthusiastic participants and cheering spectators.

But behind all the fun was a hardworking team of volunteers brought together by the Kurrimine Beach Progress Association, who spent countless hours organising, cooking, serving and making sure everyone had a wonderful time. With old friends catching up, new friendships formed and smiles all round, Kurrimine Beach once again proved it knows how to throw a great party!
