First-place winners L. Mahon, A. Foti and B. Eddleston are presented with their prize by President Elsa Piotto. Photos supplied
President’s Day was celebrated at the club this week, with members coming together to make sure their popular President, Elsa Piotto, enjoyed a special day as her fellow ladies decorated the hall and provided a lavish afternoon tea, and enjoyed a series of bowling games.
Our invited men bowlers were more than challenged; they were totally lost at the unusual format, especially when it came to bowling to the mat instead of the kitty, still the games were enjoyed by all.

Taking out first place were B. Eddleston, A. Foti and L. Mahon, who defeated J. Johnson, J. Casanovas and J. Craven, 26–9.
Second place went to M. Spano, J. Eddleston and G. Wright, defeating N. Mammerella, D. Tomba and S. Ryan, 16–11.
I. Byrns, M. Moore and L. DiBella claimed third place with a 19–5 win over A. Burns, T. Rhodes and J. Piotto.

In a cheeky twist, J. Bell, G. Byrns and M. Owen made sure the President didn't take home a win, defeating Elsa and her team of R. Horton, J. Fenoglio and E. Piotto, 16–6.
A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the celebration and made it such an enjoyable day for Elsa and club members.
