A fantastic turnout of bowlers helped make the annual Delmo Ganza and Peter Poggio sponsored afternoon a success, with players enjoying two rounds of competition and plenty of friendly rivalry at the Noorla Bowls Club.
Held on Saturday afternoon, the event featured two games of 12 ends, with the weather also playing its part in making it an enjoyable day on the greens.
The club extended its appreciation to Delmo Ganza and Peter Poggio for their continued support, with the sponsored afternoon having become an annual fixture for many years.
Prizes were awarded to the leading teams in each round, recognising the efforts of players throughout the afternoon.
In the first game, Thomas's team claimed first place, followed by Frank's team in second and Paul Menegon's team in third.
The second game saw Frank Pallanza's team take first place, with Joe Mugica's team finishing second and Tony Serra's team claiming third.
The club thanked all players who came along and helped make the afternoon such a success, as well as the volunteers and workers who gave their time to assist with the event.
