‍

Hinchinbrook’s creative community will take centre stage this November as the 48th Hinchinbrook Art Awards returns to TYTO Regional Art Gallery.

‍

The opening night and awards ceremony will give guests the first opportunity to explore this year’s exhibition, meet participating artists and connect with fellow art enthusiasts before the 2026 award recipients are announced.

‍

The evening will begin at 6pm on Friday 13th November, with canapés served and a cash-only bar available. Guests are reminded to bring cash if they wish to purchase drinks, as there are no EFTPOS or ATM facilities within the TYTO Precinct.

‍

Entry is free, however, bookings are essential for catering purposes. Guests are encouraged to RSVP through www.hinchinbrooktickets.com.au/, with semi-formal dress requested for the occasion.

Visitors travelling to Ingham are encouraged to arrange accommodation early, as places can fill quickly. The Hinchinbrook Way website offers accommodation options and visitor information for those wishing to make a longer stay of their visit.

‍

From the region’s wetlands and national parks to its rich history, local culture and dining experiences, there is plenty to explore while in Hinchinbrook. The Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre can also assist with recommendations and travel advice on (07) 4776 4792.

‍

The Hinchinbrook Art Awards continue to be made possible through the support of participating artists, volunteers, the wider community and generous sponsors, whose contributions help nurture creativity and strengthen the arts across the region.
