Independently Owned, Locally Grown, Community Loved
Talented local artist Lavinia has added more colourful history to the walls of Tully, transforming an iconic piece of local business life into a mural celebrating the Iggulden family.
Sharing a sneak peek on her popular Facebook page, Lavinia thanked the Iggulden family for allowing her to honour their story through her artwork.
“Before I show you the whole wall, I wanted to share the people behind it first,” she shared.
“A very big thank you to Robyn, Colin and the whole Iggulden family for trusting me with something so close to their hearts.
“It’s been so very special bringing a little piece of their family history to life.”
Lavinia also thanked Councillor Trudy Tschui for coming along to witness the completed mural and share in the special moment.
The mural was partially funded through the Cassowary Coast Shopfront Improvement Program.
