The TYTO Regional Art Gallery will welcome the community to the opening of Through My Eyes, an exhibition by artist David Boucher that challenges perceptions of colour, creativity and visual expression.
Despite being colourblind, Boucher produces striking portraits, landscapes and cityscapes that are rich in energy and emotion. Working instinctively, his practice offers a rare and compelling perspective, inviting audiences to reconsider how colour, feeling and interpretation intersect. Through My Eyes presents a body of work that is both surprising and deeply engaging, revealing creativity beyond conventional ways of seeing.
The exhibition will officially open with a special opening night celebration, followed by an artist talk later in the week, providing audiences with an opportunity to hear directly from Boucher about his process and artistic journey.
