Tasman Turtle’s Picnic Day A Hinchinbrook Family Highlight

One of Hinchinbrook’s most beloved family fun days will soon grace the region for another fantastic year and families across the Shire have well and truly begun the countdown! Tasman Turtle’s Picnic Day will be back on the 14th of June for an energised, fun-filled day at Ingham’s TYTO Parklands and preparations are already underway.

Set to run right through from 9am to 2pm, this FREE event will be packed with activities, entertainment, and hands-on fun for kids of all ages to enjoy. New attractions for 2025 include a rock-climbing wall and a world of clowning, tumbling, juggling, acro balance, and plate spinning workshops as hosted by the infamous CircUp group.

Plenty of fan favourites are also expected to return such as Adrenaline Games Laser Tag, a petting zoo, face painting, and plenty more.

Proudly hosted by Hinchinbrook Shire Council, Tasman Turtle’s Picnic Day continues to be a highlight on the local calendar, bringing the community together for a vibrant day out and if you’d like to get involved, contact the Council’s Event Team on 4776 4600 or email events@hinchinbrook.qld.gov.au.

Mark your calendars - it’s going to be a blast!
