Secrets, suspicion and plenty of theatrical flair filled the Tully Masonic Centre when the Tully Arts and Culture Precinct Inc. (TA&CP) hosted its first-ever murder mystery evening, The Art of Murder, on Friday, 17th July.
The sold-out event invited guests to step into character for an evening of mystery, intrigue and laughter, with attendees taking on roles ranging from wealthy art collectors and gallery staff to aristocrats, critics, security guards and criminals.
As the mystery unfolded, players worked together to solve the theft of a priceless painting and uncover the identity of a murderer, with every guest considered a suspect. Dressed for the occasion and fully embracing their assigned characters, participants helped bring the interactive whodunnit to life, creating an entertaining and memorable evening.
Adding to the atmosphere, the event was held within the gallery space at the Tully Masonic Centre, surrounded by the Tradition, Ritual, Community exhibition, which remains on display until 1st August.
Following the success of its debut murder mystery, TA&CP plans to host more interactive events in the future, with updates to be shared via the organisation's social media page.
