Young anglers are invited to cast a line at the Fisherman’s Landing Fishing & Social Club Kids Fishing Classic on Saturday 4th July 2026.
The free event is open to children aged 16 and under, with no membership required, just a passion for fishing.
The competition will run from 8am to 11am at Balgal Beach Park, with registration available from 7am at the registration tent.
Early registration is also available by completing a registration form and returning it to the club.
Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants are asked to bring their own fishing gear and bait, with great prizes on offer throughout the competition. Please note that this is on shore fishing only, no boats to be used. Fishing can be done anywhere in Rollingstone Creek and along the foreshore of Belgal Beach.
Following the fishing fun, an awards ceremony and free sausage sizzle will be held at Balgal Beach Park.
