Gilroy Santa Maria College celebrated the 2026 Confraternity and QISSN Carnivals in style at the Herbert River RSL Sub Branch, at their annual presentation night. The evening was a fantastic opportunity to honour the efforts of the college community throughout both campaigns and thank their valued parents, staff and sponsors for their involvement in the GSMC rugby league and netball programs.

With over 80 guests in attendance, the RSL provided a beautifully prepared meal, before the crowd heard from Sports Coordinator Annan Whittington, Confraternity Coach Matthew Spina and QISSN Coach Maddyn White, with highlight videos and awards announced.

The evening was wrapped up with a special thank you from the 2026 Confraternity and QISSN Captains, Connor Matsen and Louise Kaurila, acknowledging the tireless work done by the coaching staff. Thank you, Miss Maddyn White, Mrs Michelle Biasi, Mr Matthew Spina, Mr Jaidyn Spina, Mr Jack Dixon, Mr Paul Dezolt and Mr Annan Whittington for the endless hours of coaching and mentoring and creating a positive, yet high performing environment for the GSMC students.
