The Ingham Powerhouse was transformed into Buck’s Barn on the afternoon of Saturday 19th September, as country clothing business Buck Wild Country celebrated five years in Ingham with a community hoedown.
Buck Wild Country Owner and Co-Founder Lacey Long said the event had been something the team had wanted to bring to life for some time.
“We wanted to bring something special to Ingham. We love intimate family events,” Lacey said.
The Hoedown featured the business’ biggest Makers Market yet, with local creatives and businesses showcasing their work. Local artist Kaitlyn kicked off the music, with the Ingham Line Dancers taking to the floor for demonstrations and encouraging members of the community to get up and have a go.
Young attendees were entertained with jumping castles, snow cones, face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon art, fairy floss and chalk art, transforming the outside of the Powerhouse into a hive of activity.
Lacey said the strong response had the team already looking towards what could come next.
“Hopefully, it is something we see again in the future,” she said.
“We’re open to having lots more local business involved, and hopefully it brings a little bit more business into our community as well.”
After five years in Ingham, the team shared their gratitude to the local community, saying: "From our family to yours, thank you for making it feel like home."
