The ever popular C&K Ingham Community Kindergarten & Preschool Kindy Quiz Night returned in 2026 after a hiatus in 2025 due to the flood that damaged the Kindergarten property.
This year the Quiz Night’s theme was “Aussie Icons” with over 300 coming together to check their trivia knowledge. Attendees dressed up in a huge range of Aussie outfits from Bob Katter to Mr Squiggle to Ned Kelly to sportstars to notorious characters to groups like Bin Chickens to Kylie Moles to Vegemite Jars to Bunnings Sausage Cookers plus so much more.

Jordan DiBella led the night that was co-ordinated by Jess Seri in 6 rounds of point scoring rounds, table quizzes, heads & tails, and Aussie corner games. Prizes were donated by a many local businesses and the kindergarten were very grateful to them for their support.
When speaking towards the end of the night Jess said that it was a tough year in 2025 due to so much work having to be done on the building after the flooding. She thanked the 39 tables that had come together for the evening. Jess thanked people who were not largely involved with the kindergarten - the markers, caterers from Oasis Coffee Lounge and the MC Jordan.
She also said it was hard to thank all those who were involved at the kindergarten who helped getting the night together without leaving someone out, but particularly thanked Centre Director Kate Hinschen for being available at all hours to assist in getting the night together.
Kate Hinschen thanked all the Mums and Dads for all their work and gave a big thank you to Jess Seri for her countless hours spent in arranging the night.
